Giving Back
to support long-term care residents
We can do more when we do it together.
Whether it’s through volunteering, financial support, collecting needed items through our “Doing The Good” entity or sponsoring our fundraising efforts, it truly takes all of us working together to advocate, empower and connect our long-term care residents with the support they need. Consider how you can get involved. There are a variety of ways to give back that can make a real impact on folks living in long-term care facilities. Consider the options below and get involved today!
Give.
While our agency is rooted in a federal initiative and overseen by the state, our funding dollars are mostly ours to generate. Year to year on average, only 30% of our funding is through the government or state. The remaining funds needed to operate are left to our office to generate through community grants, local giving and fundraising. Your financial donations stay in our region and support long-term care residents right here in our community.
You can choose to give a one-time donation or give each month.
Volunteer.
The LTC Ombudsman Program operates primarily by volunteers, which is why our volunteers are imperative to our mission and goals.
With your support, we can promote the highest quality of life for people living in long-term care facilities in Northeastern Indiana through advocacy and empowerment.
Our agency relies on volunteers to fulfill our mission and provide crucial services to long-term care residents and their families.
Donate.
“Doing The Good,” an entity of our LTC Ombudsman Program, periodically collects items that are helpful to have on hand for the long-term care residents we serve. These items can be:
Puzzle books & adult coloring books
Colored pencils and writing utensils
Non-slip socks
New adult pajamas or lounge wear
For more of the items we need, please visit our online registry.
Sponsor.
There are several events and fundraising efforts where sponsors are necessary to help cover the costs associated with these events. From our annual symposium to our Residents’ Rights fundraiser, sponsors are an important part for these events.
If your business or organization would like to know more about what sponsorship opportunities may exist, please contact us using the form below. We’d welcome the opportunity to share more of our mission with you and the impact your sponsorship can make.
